Hands-on Cider Pressing and Cider/Winemaking Workshop

Ever wanted to try your hand at making cider? Join us up at the winery while we press a batch of apples, discuss the process of making cider and wine, and taste different products at different stages in their life.

We will have enough juice for 10 attendees to take home 5 gallons of juice to experiment with at home. Everyone will see the process and learn the steps and procedures and get to try tank and barrel samples to help appreciate the craft. Learn how different apples and different grapes dictate the character of the wines and how the steps we take in making wine affect the character and style.

For those taking juice home, please bring a 5-gallon food-safe bucket and lid; these are available for a few dollars at Home Depot, Lowes, and often Stan’s. We will not be able to provide these.

We can provide glass carboys, and yeast for those who need it.

Please were closed-toe shoes and an extra layer of clothes (no need to dress up, you may get wet or dirty!).

Workshop Only: $25 / $15 for club members (Stemilt Creek or Archibald James)

Workshop + Juice and supplies: $50 / $35 for club members (Stemilt Creek or Archibald James)
