✨ Step into the holiday magic at Deck the Old City Hall! From November 29 to January 5, 2025, Whatcom Museum’s Old City Hall transforms into a dazzling holiday wonderland filled with beautiful trees, garlands, and wreaths that create a festive ambiance. Admission is by donation, with all proceeds supporting Museum programs and exhibitions.
Celebrate the season with special events and activities that bring the holidays to life. On Sunday, December 8, from 3 PM to 4 PM, the Community Ukulele Players return to Old City Hall for a lively and joyous Holiday Ukulele Concert. The following Sunday, December 15, from 2 PM to 3 PM, enjoy timeless holiday melodies performed by the talented students of the Brooke Bates Music Studio during Classic Carols at Deck the Old City Hall. Every Saturday in December, the Rotunda Room hosts Handmade Holidays, where family-friendly crafting activities inspire creativity and help you make cherished holiday keepsakes.
There’s even more holiday fun to enjoy! On December 7, Swifties can craft custom friendship bracelets—perfect for gifting or keeping as a tribute to your favorite pop star. On December 14, don’t miss a visit from LEGO® Masters contestant Brad Bergman, who will guide festive LEGO® ornament builds, with the opportunity to vote for Old City Hall on LEGO® Ideas. On December 21, embrace the winter solstice with glowing luminary crafts. Be sure to mark your calendar for Free First Friday on December 6, when Old City Hall will stay open until 9 PM.
