Finish strong this summer with a run to the summit of the largest ski resort in Washington! All ability levels are encouraged to join and take on the challenge. Start from the Crystal Mountain base area at 4,400 feet, run 3.3 miles up the rugged Kelly’s Gap Road connecting to the Green Valley Trail, and reach the summit at 6,872 feet! High-five, you made it! Party on the summit with food, drink and music as the awards for the Hill Climb are given out. After celebrating your ascent, enjoy a scenic gondola ride back down to the base.

Please note, this is a high alpine challenge on technical terrain. No aid stations but food, hydration, and entertainment will be available at the summit. Mountain weather can change quickly so carry what you may need for completion of event including possible layers, food, water, poles, an emergency blanket and first aid kit should you take longer than expected or become stranded and await medical attention. We will keep all participants updated on weather forecast leading up to the event.

Prizes awarded: Everyone who races receives a finisher’s medal. Those men & women who finish in the top 3 receive cash prizes:

• W2/M2: $250
• W3/M3: $125

Registration: Online registration will close Friday, September 13th at noon. Race capped at 450 racers.

Cancellations/Refunds/Withdrawal: Crystal Mountain reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to weather, smoke, force majeure, or other unsafe conditions that may impact the safety of participants, volunteers, or spectators. Permits to hold the event are also subject to USFS approval and they have the right to revoke permits at any time. Secondary to fixed costs of organizing this event, refunds will not be given in the event of cancellation.

Participants must be 8 years of age or older to participate and must be accompanied by an adult. Participants at least 15 years of age and less than 18 years of age must have parental consent to participate.
