Community Night at VITAL

Climb with us! On Saturday, February 8 from 4 – 8 pm, VITAL Climbing Gym on N. State Street will donate $4 from every day pass sold to support installing a new traverse climbing wall in the Whatcom Museum’s Family Interactive Gallery. The wall will be for children 4 years and older to explore, play, and challenge their strength. With world-class climbing destinations within a few hours’ drive from Bellingham, we’re thrilled to introduce young children to a new physical activity they can enjoy throughout their lives while helping them build dexterity and confidence today.
The Whatcom Museum acknowledges that we gather on the traditional territory of the Lhaq’temish – Lummi People – and the Nuxwsá7aq – Nooksack People – who have lived in the Coast Salish region from time immemorial. The Museum honors our relationship with all of our Coast Salish neighbors and our shared responsibilities to their homeland where we all reside today.
