Blooms and Brews: Make Clay Earrings at the Stoat

Join Jessica Pendergraft for an evening of jewelry making at The Stoat – Granite Falls’ favorite dog-friendly bar. Create lasting memories while you immerse yourself in the art of polymer clay jewelry making.

What to Expect:

During this 2-hour class, Jessica will introduce you to an abundance of creative possibilities in the world of polymer clay. You’ll learn about polymer clay as a medium with an introduction to the most popular clay brands and learn how to take your future creations up a notch with silkscreens, texture mats, mica powder and various other materials while getting hands-on experience with various tools used to create a multitude of polymer crafts. You’ll leave with the confidence to continue creating at home.

Jessica will provide:

  • Clay to create 2 Kula Cloth earrings
  • 2 jump rings and 2 bar earring posts (surgical stainless steel option will also be available for those with sensitive ears)
  • Various tools to create the spring flowers design
  • Step-by-step instruction on the techniques needed to create the design

What to Bring (Not Necessary, but Recommended):

  • 1-2 pairs of small pliers for use while opening jump rings
  • Face mask (for potential dust if jump ring hole needs to be drilled)

About Your Instructor:

Jessica is a self taught polymer clay artist with a goal to create goods that give you the feels, no matter what frequency you’re on. Jessica chose polymer clay as her creative medium because of the vast flexibility and creative freedom that polymer clay offers. Currently her focus is on jewelry, but Jessica is expanding and has dabbled in home goods and is excited to expand her brand.
