Lisa Telford is a Git’ans Git’anee Haida weaver who creates contemporary garments, shoes, and other objects using Northwest Coast style weaving techniques. Join Lisa to learn how to weave a miniature berry basket necklace. Using red and yellow cedar bark, Lisa will share her practice as you weave a beautiful basket of your own. The workshop cost includes the price of supplies to make one berry basket necklace. After the workshop, visit the Museum’s People of the Sea and Cedar gallery where Lisa’s baskets are on display.
