Bellingham Bells Vs. Marion Berries

The Bellingham Bells 2025 West Coast League season continues with the first visit to Joe Martin Stadium of The Marion Berries. Come see tomorrow’s stars today. First pitch is at 6:35pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday first pitch is at 1:35pm.   Gates open an hour before first pitch.

Established in 1999, they compete in the West Coast League (WCL), a premier wood-bat league showcasing top collegiate talent across North America. The Marion Berries Baseball Club is set to bring a fresh wave of excitement to Salem, Oregon, as the 17th West Coast League member (WCL) member. This summer collegiate wood-bat league features teams from Oregon, Washington, and Canada, providing a platform for college-eligible players to showcase their talents.

Beginning in the summer of 2025, the Marion Berries will play their home games at the newly renovated ballpark at Willamette University’s Bush’s Pasture Park in downtown Salem. The stadium will feature comfortable seating, berry-themed concessions, and a lively atmosphere perfect for fans of all ages.

The team’s name pays homage to the Marionberry, a fruit developed in Marion County in 1956, symbolizing the region’s rich agricultural heritage. The Marion Berries are dedicated to community engagement, supporting local businesses, charities, and initiatives that positively impact the Salem area.
