Artful Pairings: LEGO® + Libations
November 21, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Calling all LEGO® builders! Join us at the museum for a one-of-a-kind LEGO® event with local LEGO® Master Builder contestants Brad Bergman and Mike Tarrant. This spring we asked Brad to build a model of our iconic Old City Hall building completely out of LEGO®. Not only did he build the version currently on view in Old City Hall, but he also created (very!) limited edition micro kits perfect for an evening of building.Learn from the LEGO® creator himself as Brad walks you through how to construct Bellingham’s beloved building brick by brick.
Your ticket includes a limited edition micro Old City Hall kit, one free drink ticket, and instructions so you can break down your mini museum and build it all over again at home.
Brad will walk participants through the process of building and will share about his experience creating the micro fig scale model of Old City Hall. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to sip and build at the museum!
The museum will provide a choice of one alcoholic drink or alcohol-free beverage per drink ticket. Additional drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.

All workshop registrations are final and non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another person by notifying us in advance. Please note that the kit you’ll receive is the smaller (micro) version of Old City Hall.
Libations provided by Welcome Road and Kulshan Brewing.

The Whatcom Museum acknowledges that we gather on the traditional territory of the Lhaq’temish – Lummi People – and the Nuxwsá7aq – Nooksack People – who have lived in the Coast Salish region from time immemorial. The Museum honors our relationship with all of our Coast Salish neighbors and our shared responsibilities to their homeland where we all reside today.
