Help spiff up the Natural Demonstration Garden at Pacific Park

For months following September 11, 2001, people came together to grieve family, friends and strangers lost in the terrorist attacks in New York and Pennsylvania. More than 20 years later, we still do. Sometimes called “Patriots Day” or “Day of Remembrance”, September 11 has become an annual day for many Americans to remember, reflect, honor, and mourn.

Join WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners for a day of service to the community and help spiff up the Natural Demonstration Garden at Pacific Park.Tuesday, September 10th from 9am to noon. We’ll start with a brief tour of the recent design updates and then get to work on tasks including weeding, clean-up and whatever else is needed. Tools and gloves will be available – dress for the weather and bring water.

This event is put in on collaboration with Clark County Public Works Green Neighbors Program. Contact: Erika.d.johnson@wsu.edu / 564-397-5738. Visit us online at https://extension.wsu.edu/clark/community-education/workshops-events/.
