2025 Tacoma Highland Games – Dance Competition

Competition Commences at 9:30 for all competitors.

Dances for each class are listed in the tickets! There is a $100 cap per family. If you meet the cap, please purchase the family 100 dances, and then reach out to tacomagamesinfo@gmail.com with each participant’s name, age, class, participating dances, and FUSTA/Scotdance Number.
No early or late entries
No Refunds: Exception if the Event does not Occur
Competition Rules:
1. Open to Northwest Region dancers only (NW-03)
2. Entries accepted on Eventbrite April 1-June 7. Early or late entries will not be accepted.
3. First to enter, last to dance.
4. Age is determined as of the date of the competition.
5. Classes will be divided after the entries close.
6. The registrar reserves the right to alter class breaks on the day of the competition if a group falls to five or fewer dancers.
7. All dancers must show their current year ScotDance card.
8. Highland and National points will be combined to determine aggregate trophy winner.
9. Cash prizes will be awarded for events 21-24
10. Any dancer causing a delay may forfeit their place in event.
11. Decision of the judge is final.
12. A $40 fee must accompany any formal written protests.
13. Competition organized under SDUSA and RSOBHD rules.
14. No Refunds will be given.
15. Choreography: Open to both Pre-Premier and Premier Competitors. *Music: 3 Min. Max. Dancer must provide music in digital format on day of compentition. Must have Celtic Theme and Highland/National movements must be incorporated.
Waiver (must be agreed to by Parent/Legal Guardian if entrant is under 18 years old) to compete: I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have or my child may have against the Tacoma Highland Games Association, their agents, representatives, successors, and assignees, for any and all injuries suffered by me or my child through the above mentioned association. I have read the above disclaimer notice and agree to the terms described. I understand when participating at the Tacoma Highland Games, I may be photographed for print, video, or electronic imaging. I further understand the images may be used in promotional materials, news releases, and other published formats. I acknowledge the images will be the sole property of the Tacoma Highland Games Association.
