Cafe Columbia at Pybus Market Wenatchee, WA Day 14 of the 100 Cups of Coffee in 100 Days Project

Welcome to Wenatchee!

When we moved to Wenatchee one of the places that helped seal the deal was Pybus Market. Located in Pybus is Café Columbia which is a great café and a place to grab a bite to eat or a good cup of coffee. Believe me, that was an important item on our checklist. Does <insert potential city> have good coffee and food? Since we moved to Wenatchee, I guess we all know the answer is yes.

Serving Blue Star Coffee Roasters Coffee, Café Columbia is pretty much my favorite place in Wenatchee to get coffee. On my last visit I was with my wife Edie and we were looking for an early morning cup of coffee to enjoy and to sit around and people watch and chat. We arrived a bit early, one of my requests is that they open earlier than 8am. My coffee was served in a large mug and I had to try a wonderful looking Strawberry Raspberry pastry. The combo was perfect.

Local Roaster Delivers The Beans

Blue Star Coffee is one of my favorite local coffee roasters and I have yet to try one of their varieties and not love it. My cup on this visit was the Hwy 20 House Blend which is described as a medium body coffee using organic beans that are roasted a bit longer to give a smooth, hearty and aromatic cup of coffee.  My review is done now as there is really nothing more I can add. =)

Café Columbia serves Blue Star Coffees. They serve them fresh, and at an appropriate temperature for drinking when you get the cup. Therefore, they are my go-to coffee shop in Wenatchee. Try the cold brew, or if you are an espresso fan, I can endorse the lattes as being particularly delicious.

Cafe Columba Popular Spot to be

Local Gathering Spot

Café Columbia has a nice amount of seating that allows you to chat with a friend or perhaps do a bit of business. On the weekends Pybus is always bustling so the background noise gets a bit loud for me. Another great suggestion is to get your coffee to go. (which is counter to the whole 100 Cups of Coffee in 100 Days Projects premise) and go for a walk on the Apple Capital Loop Trail. If you complete the whole 10-mile loop you can stop back in and get a treat and another cup of coffee!

Where To Find

You can visit Café Columbia in the Pybus Market 3 N. Worthen Wenatchee, WA 98001. Follow them on Instagram. Visit their website or find them on Facebook. When you stop in tell them you heard about them from Explore Washington State.

This wraps up day fourteen of one hundred. Where will I be having coffee tomorrow? Check back and see. Share your Café Columbia experiences below. Send me the names and addresses of any interesting coffee shops that you think I should go to.
