The Anderson Island Historical Society is holding a Gala Open House on May 1st. 2010. The Open House is to celebrate the 35th. anniversary of the Anderson Island Historical Society.
The open house will be held at The Johnson Farm. There will be tours, food, speeches, presentations, music and a major announcement. For more information about the Johnson Farm please follow this link.

Located in south Puget Sound Anderson Island is a great place to take a day trip from Steilacoom by ferry and spend time exploring the island. The island has limited services available so plan ahead. For more information on the ferry to the island and the schedule. You can get a nice cup of coffee at the Topside Coffee Cabin in Steilacoom before lining up for the ferry.
